Red Mountain Racers Ski Academy
Working in partnership with Red Mountain Racers and Rossland Secondary School (RSS), the Red Mountain Racers Ski Academy draws local and international students from grades 8 to 12 to participate in its 5 or 10-month program. RSS Academy teachers provide the athletes individualized, flexible, strong academics, while the Red Mountain Racer coaches use state-of-the-art training techniques to develop the skills needed to be champion racers. It was through this highly successful alpine ski club that Nancy Greene, Canada’s Female Athlete of the Century, learned the skills that led her to her historic Olympic gold medals.
