WINTER WARM-UP DOUBLE MOVIE NIGHT
It’s time to get fired up for Winter with a double premiere right here at RED. Mosey on up to the mountain to check out two of the latest and greatest ski films featuring some of the best homegrown Rossland talent: Krafted Productions’ “Water the Plants” and HEAD’s full length feature film: “UNIFIED.” Check out the trailers and RSVP your spot!
Opening Day Updates
Big news! Our on-mountain Operations and Patrol teams have been working tirelessly these last few days to allow us to officially announce the set Opening Day of the 2023/24 season! We will be kicking off the first day of the season this Thursday, December 28th with the Magic Carpet Carpet, Silverlode, Motherlode, and Paradise Chairs spinning. We cannot stress enough how important it is to understand that current early-season conditions on the mountain require all guests to stick to our designated & groomed runs. Natural hazards - both marked and unmarked - very much exist right now. Check our Snow Report & our social channels Thursday morning for the release of what runs will officially be open to start the season. In terms of available terrain, please note that Motherlode Chair will only be intended as access between Paradise and the lower mountain. A few other important things to know starting Thursday... Our free Rossland to RED shuttle will be kicking off Thursday morning! View & download the schedule here Lift tickets will be 30% off at the ticket window until further notice Paradise Lodge will be open w/ regular hours from 10am - 2:30pm Come join us in Rafters for the first aprės and No Shower Happy Hour of the season! Open at 11am - 6pm with No Shower Happy Hour kicking off at 2pm! Our Rental Shop (8am - 4pm) & Retail Store (8:30am - 4:30pm) will also be ready for ya if you need any last-minute tune-ups or outerwear before hopping on the chair! We can't wait to get this season started! Between The Peaks Recap
The inaugural Between the Peaks Mountain Music Fest on September 15th and 16th hosted right at the base of RED Mountain Resort in Rossland, BC was hailed as a major success not just for the town of Rossland but for the region as a whole, celebrating live music in the outdoors. This 2-day music festival with an attendance of close to 2,000 total festival goers, hosted 16 bands on 2 stages, and served up a variety of amazing food vendors, beers, ciders, and cocktails, all with the beautiful backdrop of RED Mountain Resort’s Red and Granite peaks. Cycle Series Recap
What an awesome summer of races! The final cycle series of the season was full of fun! A chance to ride down an up track, delicious drinks & food and the grand finale to finally beat your friends. Coming September 15-16, 2023, Between the Peaks Music Festival is the newest music event in the Kootenays, right here at the base of RED Mountain in Rossland, BC! Hosting a variety of Canadian, international, and local acts with the goal to evolve into a growing music and arts festival held every year, this is a festival you won’t want to miss! RED Teeth Kicked Off Summer In Style
Wine flies when you’re having fun, and did we ever have fun last Saturday! With a dozen wineries sampling a variety of wines, plenty of small eats, groovy tunes and a whole lot of cheersing, Red Teeth was a great way to start off the summer. Check out the photos and video!
Slush Cup Recap
From a rodeo cowboy to an alien invader, we had 50+ tough contenders brave the cold and test their winter surf skills at this years Slush Cup! Only a select few made it across the chilly waters, which made for some epic spills and splashes. Check out the photos!
