Bio: Hey everyone, my name is Erin Sauve and I am the Freeride World Tour Champion of 2024. Last year was a big one for me, as my first season on the FWT. In March 2024 I won 3 titles: 2024 Freeride World Tour Champion; 2024 Female Rookie of the Year; 2024 Verbier Xtreme Winner
I couldn’t have done any of this without my supporting community. My family, friends, coaches, sponsors and everyone in Rossland who backed me gave me the help and confidence I needed to take it all the way. I am beyond grateful for the experience, and can’t wait to do it all over again in 2025!
How old were you when you started riding?
At age 4 I started skiing, and when I was 10 years old started snowboarding
Who are your mentors/influencers?
My riding friends are my biggest influences. I am inspired by everyone out there shredding for the love of it and seeing individual styles shine

Sauve, Ernie, Er-bear
What’s your favourite thing about RED?
Red has the best terrain! Tight trees and never ending steeps keep me entertained day after day.
What movie/video gets you most amped for the winter?
Out Cold is my classic to get winter started
What’s your favourite run at RED?
That is a secret – but I love a good Links Line when there’s vis!
Do you listen to music when you shred? (what’s your go-to?)
All the time, and anything that gets me stoked!
When not skiing/riding, what else do you like to do?
In the winter when I’m not riding I’m resting – reading, hot tubbing, or taking the dog for a walk

Do you have any preseason rituals leading up to the winter?
Get strong and get stoked
If you could be any animal, what would it be?
Probably a Bald Eagle…soaring around would be so cool, and they are such majestic (and badass) creatures!

Hesitation leads to devastation.
Describe your perfect apres.
Nachos at Rafters with the homies, followed by a hot tub. Early bed and then do it all again!
