Accomplishments: It’s a dangerous sport that we push ourselves to excel at and just generally staying healthy and therefore allowing myself to return to the mountains every year is a blessing. Also to be a part of the Powder Union to test and write reviews for Powders annual buyers guide, and among various competition podiums throughout B.C.
Bio: An upbringing in Ontario drove my interests deep into the park scene, and the streets became an urban skiing source of entertainment. Powder however soon took over my life, and having made the transition out west I couldn’t acknowledge Rossland as anything but my true home. When asked “Why red mountain?” I can list off various unique qualities, from no lift lines to stellar Kootenay seas. But ultimately its a feeling, and that feeling has kept me 6 seasons and counting at Red. Though Rossland may be my primary base, I have been fortunate enough to also spend a considerable amount of time in New Zealand, Colorado/Utah, Banff, Whistler and Nelson as they all have been home at one point. As long as Im on the slopes, Skiing will be home.

Too young to remember, at first I hated skiing but the spark hit me when I was around 10.

Corey Vanular, Max Hill, Leigh Powis and all the Ontario boys I grew up with.

Natural hot springs and southern state motorbike trips during the off season.
