Job Description
The Clubhouse Day Attendant is a crucial piece in the day-to-day operation of the Constella Cabins and Clubhouse. This position is a multitasking role which requires all candidates to be able to troubleshoot and problem solve while maintaining a cool, calm and collected attitude. The Day Attendant has a wide variety of roles included in their position such as preparing and serving specialty beverages and warm lunches as well as maintaining a clean and enjoyable experience for all guests, members and visitors. This position requires a highly ambitious and enthusiastic individual with the ability to deliver excellent customer service to enhance the RED guest experience.
Job Location
The Constella Cabins and Clubhouse are a backcountry operation located in the Paradise Basin on the backside of Granite Mountain. During winter operations, the facility is only accessible by skiing/snowboarding via the Silverlode and Motherlode chairlifts. Check out your commute to work here!
Job Responsibilities:
- Communicating regularly with the Lodging Director and Food and Beverage Manager to ensure seamless operation and customer service
- Helping to ensure the cleanliness, organization and sanitation of all cookware, flatware, small wares, glassware, and cutlery in the common kitchen
- Maintaining cleanliness of all guest use areas which include indoor and outdoor dining as well as public washrooms
- Assisting with meal preparation for the Overnight Attendant
- Snow removal around the clubhouse and cabin entries
- Chopping wood and maintaining heating sources
- Being readily available at all times to deal with problems or complaints that may arise
- Providing friendly, efficient & professional service to ensure a positive guest experience
- Keeping a daily up-to-date inventory of all cleaning and food and beverage supplies
- Reporting all maintenance items as soon as they arise
- Daily cash outs
- Must be familiar and follow all Constella Emergency Procedures and Plans
- Must comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Guidelines.
- Baggage handling on an as needed basis
- Performing other duties as required
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Previous Food and Beverage experience
- Food Safe Certificate required
- Serve it Right Certificate required
- Excellent ski/snowboard ability is required
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be able to work alone and possess strong multitasking skills
- Must be in good physical shape and able to lift loads of up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent ski/snowboard ability is required
- Service oriented, assertive, flexible, outgoing and enthusiastic
- Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
- Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Willing to obtain Serving it Right and Food safe if Certification is not yet in place
Work Schedule
Full time, seasonal position. All candidates must be available for evenings and weekends.
