Bio: Born in NZ, raised in Rossland BC, and a RED Mountain local, Neko has been on a snowboard since the moment he could walk. Snowboarding to Neko is all about fun and friends & his love just keeps on growing. Neko has been competing in Slopestyle events in Canada and New Zealand since the age of 6 & this winter, Neko will train and compete in the USA with the New Zealand National Development Slopestyle Team. He is really excited for this new opportunity & the chance to compete amongst the worlds best junior snowboarders.

There are so many people that I look up to. Everyone from Burton Snowboards who have helped me, The WKNDRS crew, Craig and Mark McMorris, my coaches + all my friends who love to shred & my mum and dad have all influenced my snowboarding.

When not skiing/riding, what else do you like to do?
I like skateboarding, hanging with friends and video games.
Do you have any preseason rituals leading up to the winter?
Get lots of school work done so I have more time to ride in the winter.

A bird
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Hopefully snowboarding as much as I can & competing at a professional level.
