Exclusively available for families with children aged 4 and under, the Young Family Pass provides a 75% discount for an additional Adult Individual Season Pass or 5 Day RED Card.
How It Works:
- One parent must purchase an Adult Individual Season Pass, plus a 4 & Under Pass (available as an add-on).
- Upon completion of your initial purchase, you will need to visit Guest Services to provide proof of age for your child or children. This must be government issued ID: birth certificate, passport, or BC Services Card.
- Once the eligibility requirements have been verified, an email will be sent to the second parent with a personalized discount code. This offer is non-transferable and must be used by the other parent.
- If you have any questions, please contact us at gs@redresort.com.

SEASON PASS PROTECTION / REFUND POLICY

Season Pass Protection must be purchased at the same time as the Season Pass and cannot be added later. For refund purposes, pass usage is defined as any scan at a lift during the 2026/2027 operating season.
If a passholder becomes eligible for a refund due to injury or illness, immediate family members (spouse or children under age 25) who are also passholders at RED Mountain Resort and purchased Season Pass Protection for their pass may also request a refund if they choose to cease participation.
PASS PROTECTION REFUND ELIGIBILITY
Guests who purchased Season Pass Protection and are affected by one or more of the following situations are eligible for refunds:
- Debilitating Injury or Illness: An injury or illness that prevents skiing or snowboarding for at least 30 consecutive days. A doctor’s note is required.
- Employer-Required Relocation: The passholder’s current employer requires relocation of at least 300 km from Rossland.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
To our valued passholders. Please have a read through this letter that outlines the changes and rationale for our 2026/2027 Season Pass line up.
What happened to the Student Pass?
The Student Pass has been discontinued. In consideration of this change, we have adjusted the age range of the Youth category from 13-18 years of age to 13-24 years of age.
What happened to the Parent Pass?
The Parent Pass has been discontinued. This decision was not taken lightly. RED is committed to being a family friendly resort, and most families will pay less than last year for their Season Passes with the new 50% discount on Youth and Junior Passes. Parents looking for a more affordable ski pass option are encouraged to consider a RED Card, or use Buddy Tickets for a 50% discount off tickets for the second parent.
For the duration of the 2025/2026 season, Parent Passholders who are looking to ski with their spouse may visit Guest Services to pick up a complimentary buddy ticket. A new ticket must be picked up each time, but there is no limit for complimentary buddy tickets for the second parent. This offer expires at the end of the 2025/2026 season. 2025/2026 Parent Passholders are also eligible for a discount off 2026/2027 Adult Individual Season Passes. For details, please email gs@redresort.com. Eligible Parent Passholders will also receive an email from RED with details on this offer.
What happened to the Seniors Couple Pass?
The Seniors Couple Pass has been discontinued. Moving forward, guests are encouraged to purchase Individual Senior Season Passes, which have been reduced by $80 compared to last year. To provide additional flexibility, our interest-free payment plan allows passholders to spread the cost of a Season Pass over six months.
For context, the early bird price for an Individual Senior Season Pass in 2025 was $978, while the effective per-person cost of the Seniors Couple Pass was $695. Our goal with this change was to lower the cost of the Individual Senior Pass, which represents more than two-thirds of all Senior Pass purchases. By consolidating into a single Senior Pass product, we were able to deliver a price reduction for the majority of our Senior passholders. For over two-thirds of Senior Passholders, this results in a $80 savings per pass.
What happened to the Family Max Pass?
The Family Max Season Pass has been discontinued. The new Family Season Pass price structure provides more flexibility for household composition and ends up being cheaper for most scenarios.
How do the Buddy Tickets work?
Adult, Youth, and Senior Season Passholders receive four buddy ticket vouchers which can be redeemed for a 50% discount off lift tickets next winter. Specific redemption details will be provided in the fall.
How do the partner reciprocal benefits work?
Each year, RED Mountain Resort negotiates reciprocal lift ticket discounts with other resorts across Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest USA. New for 2026/2027, RED is excited to announce that all Season Passholders receive one complimentary day of skiing at Revelstoke Mountain Resort and one complimentary day of skiing at Sun Peaks. Blackout dates apply from December 19 – January 3, and February 12-15. Additional lift ticket discounts will be announced in the fall, which includes a 25% discount on lift tickets across over 20 different resorts.
SEASON PASS FRAUD POLICY

- If your pass is reported stolen after being caught on someone else, an RCMP report detailing the theft will be required before issuing a replacement pass.
- Future skiing privileges at RED Mountain Resort will be revoked until any outstanding fines are paid in full and the suspension period has passed.
